Care for Creation Fair

Greetings and Easter Blessings!
The Holy Name of Jesus - St. Gregory the Great parish Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation Committee (JPIC) invites you to the April 20-21 weekend Care for Creation Fair! This is a great opportunity to learn ways to better live Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’ in which he asks us to “care for the earth and care for the poor”. There will be representation from organizations that promote Care for the Environment, Environmental Justice, Fair Trade,
Food Justice/Hunger initiatives, Homeless assistance, Migrant assistance, Restorative Justice, Nonviolence/Peacekeeping, Public Safety and Civic Responsibility.
The Fair takes place in the Holy Name of Jesus School building entrance and Cafeteria (202 Amsterdam Ave @ West 97th St.) There will be tabling for participating organizations, activities for children, and refreshments.
The Fair begins after the 5:30PM Vigil Mass on Saturday, April 20 and resumes on Sunday, April 21 after the 9AM Mass and concludes at 6PM. Since there is a fellowship gathering after the 6PM Sunday Mass those attendees are encouraged to attend before the 6PM Mass.
