Harlem Family Institute
The Franciscan Community Center is happy to offer individual, group and family counseling to our community through the dedicated staff and students of Harlem Family Institute. Jointly, we seek to deal directly with those problems that affect the well-being of our youth, adults and families. Counseling services are ongoing and by appointment.
The Harlem Family Institute is a parent-child center, an adult and youth therapy center and a psychoanalyst training institute that brings ultra-low-fee group and individual services to underserved communities. It trains suitable candidates holding a master's degree in any field in its five-year, part-time, training program, leading to the state exam for the New York State License in Psychoanalysis.
