Lenten Food Drive
Time: Saturday, March 13 at 5:30 PM
Location: Holy Name Church
The members of the St. Mary of the Angels Fraternity (SFO) are distributing bags at each Mass over the weekend of March 13th and 14th and are asking for donations of non-perishable food items such as canned hams, beef, stew, soup, vegetables, cereals, rice, etc. These donations will help re-supply the Food Pantry Program and Sandwich Line programs. The SFO will collect the filled bags on the following weekend, March 20th and 21st. Please help us feed others who are less fortunate.
March Food Sale

Please join us for a food sale in the Holy Name Name School cafeteria with delicious food provided by the Young Mexican Group! The group will be selling food between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. It's a great way to meet fellow parishioners after mass. All are Welcome!!

Friar’s Forum Tonight

Franciscans worldwide are celebrating the 800th Anniversary of the Founding of their Order in many different ways around the world. Here at Holy Name the friars invite you to join them in deepening your faith by participating in Friars's Forum, a series of adult education offerings.
Tonight's session is being led by Lawrence Ford, O.F.M.. and his topic is "What is the Church Saying Today about the Sacrament of Reconciliation?".
Each session of the Friars Forum will be conducted from 7:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. in St. Mary of the Angels Chapel. The opportunity for questions and discussion will be included and light refreshments will be served. All are Welcome!

Join the 1st Annual Pilgrimage of New York on March 20
Time: Saturday, March 20 at 10:00 AM
Location: Meet at 10:00 AM at the Shrine of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini at 701 Ft. Washington Ave
We will traverse the island of Manhattan from the top to the bottom! We will stop at two shrines, two cathedrals and visit the first Catholic church established in Manhattan. The walk is 13.5 total miles and there are no rules, hopping on the subway is a perfectly acceptable way to finish/start the pilgrimage.
